I checked in with one of my coaching clients and asked, “So, how’s the project going?” Them: “It’s going…” [trailing off as to guard against uncertainty] This is a common conversation I have with clients. We’re usually working on something big—personally or professionally—and it’s so easy to focus on what’s not working. So I always encourage the opposite: celebrate the small wins. They add up. 🎉 This client was overwhelmed. They came into the session thinking they’d have to delay everything or hire help they couldn’t afford. Sometimes it's not either-or. So we made a plan. We identified the most important question, brainstormed backup options, and listed 20 people in their community to reach out to. With clear steps, their anxiety shifted into momentum. Now, they’re moving forward with confidence. They suddenly have more support than expected. The key person with the exact skills they needed was available and eager to help. Plus, other roles were quickly filled, with backup volunteers on deck. When I later asked what changed, they said: “I was able to let go of the limitations my mind was putting on it. I kept thinking, ‘There’s no way I can get all this help.’” 🚀 But action changed the story. The limitations were ALL IN THEIR MIND. Maybe you're in a similar spot, Reader—holding back because all you can see are the obstacles. That’s your cue to take one small step anyway. And then see what happens instead of just thinking about it. Progress doesn’t always look like a big leap. But even a tiny step forward can unlock the next one. You've got this. In Joy, Nyssa P.S. Sometimes all it takes is one small, soul-aligned step to shift everything. If you're ready for that, reply with “I’d love to talk,” and we’ll set up a discovery call to explore what’s next for you. 🔮 Upcoming Availability:Tuesday, August 12 5pm 3:15pm - NOT AVAILABLE ONLINE - Reply or text me to book Thursday, August 14th 3 or 3:30pm 🏖️ Summer Vacation: Be sure to get your next session booked now. 😎

This week’s Full Moon is all about talking… to ourselves. I love that it arrives right at the end of the year but the start of the month. It feels like an invitation to have an honest, compassionate conversation with yourself about the year you just lived. For me, the Full Moon is a sacred monthly check-in—one of those natural pause points where I reconnect with what I want, what I’ve learned, and what’s shifted. (If you want to go deeper into this, I have a workshop that helps guide the...
The past few weeks in my treatment room I've had different versions of what feels like the same conversation: "I just need to get through Thanksgiving." Some clients are managing the duties of hosting like a professional caterer. (That's us. 🙋♀️) Others are doing Olympic-level schedule coordination to make it to several meals in the same day. Either way, there's usually a factor of "... and I have to talk to so-and-so." You know the one I'm talking about. 👀 They're the family member you have...
It usually starts with a tiny little bottle. My mom’s story did. She was traveling to California in a VW van in the ’70s when they stopped at a flea market in Texas (of all places). That’s where she found her first “tiny little bottles.” They were labeled essential oils—or at least the closest thing to real essential oils you could find back then. She started putting them in her massage oils, and that was it. She read everything she could get her hands on, started a school and wrote books....
