Coming home, we missed our connecting flight. 😭 The plane was ready to land in DC when we found out the weather was too bad to descend. Instead, we flew circles in the sky for 45 minutes. Though I wasn’t looking forward to a long layover, I was glad that the protocol wasn’t to fly into the storm hoping for the best. 🤞 You don’t always have to move forward at all costs. I’m curious, Reader, is there something you've been pushing that just isn't working? What if you took a step back and circled the air for a while? For me, finding the balance between productivity and rest is a spiritual practice. I have big dreams but lean on the wisdom of knowing when to move forward and when to wait. Don’t plow through a storm when you might be able to wait it out and have a softer landing. ⛈️ Give yourself space to find that peace. In Joy, Nyssa P.S. The dust of the New Year is settling. Projects be project-ing. Tasks might be piling up. And what about that thing you said, "2025 will be the year I ..." If overwhelm is creeping in, make this one habit something you DID do in 2025: Never have more than 3 priorities. I start the day knowing what critical few things need my attention most, so at least those few things get done....

If the song’s intro or title makes one of us cry, it's clear YES. 👉This is also a great indicator of how to set goals for your life.
