The dust of the New Year is settling. Projects be project-ing. Tasks might be piling up. And what about that thing you said, "2025 will be the year I ..." If overwhelm is creeping in, make this one habit something you DID do in 2025: Never have more than 3 priorities. Seriously, Reader, this message made it to your inbox because it was one of my 3 priorities for today. (It works!) I start the day knowing what critical few things need my attention most, so at least those few things get done. Try it now! Look at your list for the day/week and ask:
Pick the 3 that stand out and focus on those first. Don’t worry: Choosing these doesn't mean that you'll ignore the rest. But it does mean you're more likely to accomplish what's really important to you. There's so much that doesn't matter vying for your attention everyday. Learning how to focus on what matters can be the difference between living a life you want and living a life that you don’t. You deserve to live the life you want. In Joy, Nyssa P.S. I'd love to help you do MORE of what you do want. That's what Coaching is for.

I'm all for being informed and taking action, but I'm also aware that unplugging from my device grounds me and increases my joy for my life. There's a power in...
Kelly and I's latest project has been choosing the songs for our wedding dance party next month. 💃🏻🕺🏽 Not easy with so many songs to choose from! So we’ve been using the Tear Test. If the song’s intro or title makes one of us cry, it's clear YES. 👉This is also a great indicator of how to set goals for your life. One of the first things I do with coaching clients is help them get clear on what’s most important. It's amazing how challenging knowing what you really want can be. If thinking of a...
"Nyssa, I feel like I haven't seen you in forever." The yoga teacher at my home studio came over to hug me. She hadn’t seen me because it’s been months since I’ve come for regular practice. I joked that now I’ll come almost daily for about 2 weeks before I don't come again for months. She gave me a knowing laugh. "We all do that," she confessed. "That's the practice." We talk about our yoga practice, meditation practice, writing practice, or our fill-in-the-blank practice, like it's about the...
